Meet the Owner

 

Carmela Vineyard, originally founded in 1988, is owned by Roger Jones. The impressive stone winery sits overlooking the Snake River, adjacent to Three Island State Park. 48 acres of vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Johannisburg Riesling. The Cabernet Franc is one of the most popular wines it produces. The wines of Carmela are made from 100% Idaho grown grapes.
