National Class Wines
Carmela VineyardsIdaho's winery, owned and operated by Idaho native Roger L. Jones, is gaining national recognition as a producer of fine wines. We currently hold Double Gold, Gold and Silver Medals from wine competitions throughout the country. Our current selection of wines include Chardonnay, Johannisburg Riesling, Rivers Mist, Semillon, Zen White, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet-Franc, Cabernet-Merlot, Bodacious Red Meritage and Zen Red. All of our wines are made with 100% Idaho Grapes. Our wines can be found in fine restaurants and local wine shops throughout Idaho and at farmers markets in the summer.

Our Vineyards
Our high elevation (ranging up to 2600 feet above sea level). extra long hours of daylight during grape ripening, cool nights, ungrafted vines and volcanic ash soils contribute to producing grapes with concentrated fruit flavors and naturally high acidity. This produces wines with perfect balance and rich and distinct flavors.
